摘要

 

本论文研究了基于IEEE802.11a标准的物理层仿真平台的搭建。IEEE802.11a无线局域网,其物理层采用了正交频分复用技术(OFDM)。同时,本文还分析了标准物理层的关键技术(天线分集技术,信道估计技术,同步技术)和基本原理。在链路的搭建中,着重研究调制解调技术的同时,还侧重研究了同步技术对整个链路的影响,并用仿真工具Matlab对其进行了仿真分析。除此之外,本链路还被设置为选择性链路,根据需要设置参数,仿真比较各个模块性能,得出结论,这也是本链路搭建的特色之一。

全文主要是由四个部分构成:无线局域网的发展与意义,IEEE802.11a物理层规范,OFDM系统的基本原理,IEEE802.11a仿真平台搭建及链路性能仿真分析。其中仿真链路又分为三个部分:发送端,信道,接收端。通过仿真可发现本链路采用的分集、同步等技术可以明显地改善BER性能。

OFDM Wireless Communication Link Simulation and design

         

 Abstract

 

   In this paper, the design of the physical layer simulator based on IEEE802.11a standard is presented. The physical layer of IEEE 802.11a WLAN adopts Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing(OFDM). At the same time, this paper make the analytics for the critical technology(the technology of antenna diversity, channel estimation, synchronization) and the basic principles. In the process of the design of this link, emphasis is laid on modulation, demodulation and effect of synchronization for the link. Also, using simulated tool “Matlab” for the whole link is to simulate, then analysis. Besides, the link of simulation has been done to be of options so that it simulate different modes according to our needs, which is one of advantages of link.

The thesis mainly consists of four parts: WLAN’developing process and meaning, the IEEE 802.11a standard, the basic principles of OFDM system, the design of IEEE802.11a simulation link. While IEEE802.11a simulation link has three parts: transmitter, channel and receiver. From the result of simulation, diversity, synchronization and else can improve the BER performance significantly.
